Program Manager - ResearchThe Research Program Manager will manage high profile projects and various quality assessments and investigations to support the Center.
The Center involves collaboration of NYP with Weill Cornell Academic Departments:
Surgery, Radiology and Population Health.
It is a unique center in the country that focuses on surgery, innovative image guided interventions and medical technology development and evaluation using clinical research and real-world evidence.
Under direct supervision of the Director of the Center and senior faculty within the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and New York Presbyterian Hospital, the Research Program Manager will perform various management activities as listed below.
Essential Job Duties Manage and support ongoing projects in collaboration with clinicians, research faculty and other investigators and track completed work Manage the process of IRB protocols by overseeing the preparation of continuing reviews and amendments and address concerns as necessary Perform chart review and data extraction for assigned projects as needed and train research coordinators to extract data Participate in all meetings and conference calls, interact with health system leaders and senior level clinicians and researchers, and record meeting minutes Support the research team by independently overseeing literature reviews and background research needed to achieve project objectives Coordinate analytic projects that involve external partners/subcontractors Manage existing funding including tracking deadlines and specific projects, preparing deliverables, and coordinating meetings with grant collaborators.
Support submission of new funding requests Work Experience At least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical, epidemiologic or health service work.
Complete proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Experience using eCRFs and large databases Good organization skills for project management, time management skills, and the ability to manage several concurrent tasks Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
